  1. 1. With today's economy, I think it is very hard for anyone to survive that is not extremely well off. The unemployment rate is really high and I think a lot of people are suffering, especially though, the middle class. I think a main issue for people our age is college. The tuitions continue to go up. If you are rich, then paying is no problem. If you are poor, then you get a ton of financial aid. If you are in the middle, then it gets sticky. Overall, I almost think the middle class has been hit the hardest by the poor economy. Hopefully, something will be resolved soon to keep the middle class alive and successful.

    3. I think that a big class distinction would definitely cause more problems. A small percentage will have most of the power and wealth, while a large percentage will be poor and financially struggling. Problems will arise and the two groups will have such different perspectives that it could be difficult to find a solution.
